Wylma Bazata

Wylma was born December 25, 1916 to Edward and Bessie Holoubek. She attended Howells Public School. On January 23, 1945 Wylma married Edward F. Bazata and they lived on a farm Northeast of Howells until 1972 when they moved Howells. She was a charter member of the St. John's Altar Society, delivered Meals on Wheels for 11 years, enjoyed traveling, Bingo and bowling. Wylma died December 30th, at the age of 93, at Alegent Health Memorial Hospital in Schuyler. Wylma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Melinda Bazata of Kearney; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Richard Ulfers of Omaha; three grandchildren, Sally and her husband, Wayne Webster of Gettysburg, PA, Scott and Rick Bazata both of Kearney. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Bazata (November 15, 1974); sister and brother-in-law Blanche and Joseph Twehus. Family suggest memorials to the Howells Rescue Squad. Funeral lunch will be served at St. John's School.
