Virgil Keith Slonecker, 65, of David City died Monday, August 13, 2012 at Butler County Health Care Center in David City.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday August 18, 2012 at 2 PM at Redeemer Lutheran Church in David City with Pastor David Palomaki officiating. In keeping with Keith's wishes, there will be no visitation.
Memorials have been suggested to the family in his name.
Virgil "Keith" Slonecker was born December 22, 1946 to Virgil E. and Irene (Nicolaus) Slonecker at Seward, NE. He was a graduate of Southeast Community College in Milford and was employed by Cummings Tools as a Salesman as well as NPPD as a Draftsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his mother Irene Slonecker of David City; a brother Rich Slonecker of Silver Creek; 3 nephews and 6 great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister Carol Kelch.
