Valda Marie (Foust) Eller, 90, passed away January 29, 2019 at the Tabitha Hospice House in Lincoln.

Valda was born March 31, 1928 on her grandparents farm near Clarkson to Albert and Wilma (Janousek) Foust. Valda was very religious and taught Sunday School for many years. She attended school in Schuyler and graduated in 1946. After graduation she became a nurses aide at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
On January 24, 1948 she married Chris Eller and moved to their farm near Schuyler and was a homemaker, loving wife, and mother. She enjoyed painting, gardening, and decorating for every holiday. After retirement, she and Chris moved to a home in Schuyler then later to Legacy Assisted Living in Lincoln. Married for over 63 years, Chris passed away in 2011, she then resided at Tabitha Health in Lincoln.
She is survived by her son Paul (Kelly) Eller of Schuyler; grandchildren Heather (James) Eller-Gilman and Kristina (Jon) Milburn who both took special care of her while in Lincoln; Six great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren; sister Alberta Mae Connerley of Lincoln and sister-in-law Doris Foust of Lincoln. Also many loving nieces and nephews and their children who had a very special place in her life. Son Rick Eller of Schuyler and his four children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chris, her parents, brothers Carrol Foust and Leroy (Marie) Foust; brothers-in-law Emerson (Marie) Eller and Dick Connerley; sister-in-law Alvena (Frank) Hobza and other family members and loved ones.
