Thelma Fendrick

Thelma was born to Ed and Bertha (Bohl) Swanson on July 14, 1921 in rural Platte County. She graduated from Schuyler High School. Thelma married Rudolph (Rudy) Fendrick on Feb. 15, 1943 at St. Augustines Catholic Church in Schuyler. Thelma was a member of St. Augustines Catholic Church in Schuyler. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and baking for family and friends. Thelma is survived by one son, Gary (Becky) Fendrick of Omaha; 5 grandchildren: Luke Fendrick of Las Vegas, NV, Katrina (Todd) Lange of Lincoln, NE, Jake (Jessica) Fendrick of Springfield, MO, Jeanette Fendrick of Omaha and Suzanne Fendrick of Omaha; and 2 great granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rudy; son, Richard; and brothers Ted, Harold, Virgil and LaVerne.
