Sybilla Legler

Billy was born January 7, 1917 north west of Schuyler. She was the ninth child of eleven born to Fred and Bertha (Dehmlow) Legler. She attended rural School District 64 to the sixth grade and then attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Schuyler High School in 1934. Billy worked as a receptionist for Dr. Fred Kolouch for many years and then worked for Becton Dickinson and Dale Electronics in Columbus before she retired. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and she loved to read. Billy died November 3, 2010, at the age of 93, at the Golden Living Center in Schuyler where she had been a resident since August of 2008. Billy is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar, Noble "Bub" and Harold "Fritz" (Evelyn); seven sisters, Ida (John) Abraham, Hazel (Frank) Kral, Olga Stenholm, Helen (George) Lambrecht, Beulah (Russell) Haworth, Thelma (Floyd) Babcock and Florence (Rollie) Truax. Family suggest memorial to Trinity Lutheran Church or Schuyler Senior Center. Funeral lunch will be srved in the Trinity Fellowship Hall.
