Starlyn Otte, 47, of David City, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Butler County Health Care Center in David City.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 30. 2009 at 10:30am at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, David City with Rev. Mark Schutt officiating. Burial will be in the David City Cemetery.
Closed casket visitation will be one one hour before services at the church.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given in care of the family.
Starlyn R. Otte was born on June 19, 1962 at McCook, Nebraska to Roland and Donna(Weaver) Hilker. She graduated from McCook High School in 1980. On November 29, 1986, she married Mark Otte at Blair, Nebraska and moved to David City where she worked as manager of E Street Discount Pharmacy.
Starlyn's life revolved around her family, especially her children. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mark, her two daughters: Morgan Rose Otte of Lincoln and Corinn Grace Otte of David City, her mother: Donna Sautner of McCook, one brother: Wade Hilker of Columbus, four sisters: Barbara(David)Faimon of Grand Island, Donita(Darl)Brunner of Windsor, CO; Nanette(Don)Schmid of Chadron and Treanna(Rick)Richie of Eldora, Iowa. Mother-in-law: Diane Otte of Omaha; and many nieces and nephews.
She was prededed in death by one brother: Tyger Hilker, and father-in-law: Gerald Otte.
