Shari Reisdorff, 59, of David City, died Monday, October 8, 2018 in Racine, Minnesota.

Sharon "Shari" was born Mary 13, 1959 to Lumir and Martha(Laska) Krepel, in Columbus, Nebraska. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1977, then graduated from Kearney State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism in 1981. Shari was united in marriage to James Reisdorff on August 31, 1996 in Columbus, NE. They lived in Columbus until 2001, then moved to David City.
Shari was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Girl Scouts, Chai Omega Sorority, Owl's Club, Butler County Historical Society, and the Daughter's of Union Veterans(DUV). She really liked her cats, collecting books, watching figure skating, learning about history, shopping, and going on road-trips to train shows with her husband. Shari worked for the Chadron Record, Russ's Market and Walgreen's in her younger years. She was also a camp counselor for the Girl Scouts. Shari spent 12 years as the feature writer for the Banner Press, and worked with her husband at South Platte Press as the office manager.
She is survived by her husband: Jim Reisdorff, of David City; mother: Martha Aerni, of Columbus; brother: Terry Krepel, of Columbus; sister: Deborah(Tom) Mohning, of Columbus; nephews: Tony Murphy, John(Emily) Murphy, T.J.(Kim) Mohning; great-nieces: Adeline and Sophia Mohning; uncle: Leo Laska; brother-in-law: John Reisdorff; sisters-in-law: Joan(Corkey) Tomlin, Nancy(Mike) Scullion, Janie(Gordon) Harting; and many cousins.
Shari is preceded in death by her step-father: Russell Aerni; cousin: Bruce Laska; and uncles: Bernard Laska and Jim Laska.
