Sara Louise Steffen passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the First Lutheran Church in Rising City, Nebraska with Ron Lau, PMA, officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at the Chermok Funeral Home in David City.
Sara was born on August 21, 1977 in Columbus, Nebraska to Russell Robert and Mary Kay (Gleich)Steffen. Sara was a member of the First Lutheran Church where she attended Sunday School and helped with Vacation Bible School. She also participated in the Relay for Life. Sara is survived by her parents, 2 sisters: Pamela (Jay) Cech and Sandra (Lance Giersdorf) Steffen, niece: Emily Cech, nephews: Austin and Randel Giersdorf, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
