Ruth E. Everding, 81, of David City died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at David Place in David City.
Graveside services will be Monday, March 23 at 11:00am at David City Cemetery with Rev. Mark Schutt officiating.
Viewing will be on Sunday, from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Chermok Funeral Home.

Ruth Everding was born on September 11, 1927 to Henry and Faye(Oftedal)Everding at Buffalo Center, Iowa. She attended school in the area. She moved to the Bruno area in 1975 where she worked at Marge's County Nightclub in Bruno for five years. She was also known as the local babysitter and caregiver and was always ready to lend a helping hand when necessary. She moved to David City from Waterloo, Iowa in 1989 and worked at the Hruska Public Library.
Ruth enjoyed shopping, NASCAR, and spending time with her "adopted grandchildren".
Ruth is survived by one brother and many friends including her good friend Susan.
