Rose Zelasney, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 20, in Fremont.

Rose was born October 2, 1932 to Stanley and Dorothy (Kowalski) Molczyk on the family farm in rural Greeley County. Rose attended school in Alda, NE. On November 28, 1950 Rose married Albin Zelasney at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Grand Island.
Rose was a homemaker who lovingly raised her children. Rose loved cross-stitching, reading, trips to the casino, and shopping adventures. She will always be remembered for her amazing sense of humor and the ability to make anyone laugh given the opportunity. Rose was a cheerful person who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her sons: Albin Jr. (Terri) Zelasney of Grand Island, Charles (Suzi) Zelasney of Columbus, Daniel (Loretta) Zelasney of Niobrara, Rudy (Carol) Zrust of Rogers, her daughters: Barbara (Kenneth) Sorensen of Fremont, Elaine (Larry) Novacek of Linwood; sister Lorraine (Melvin) Oberschulte of Grand Island; 21 Grandchildren and 37 Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albin Sr. in 1992 and three brothers George, Ray, and Clem Molczyk.
