Rose C. Oehme, 100, widow of Adolf, of David City died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at David Place in David City.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00am in St. Francis(Center) Catholic Church, rural David City with Fr. Matthew Eickhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. A parish rosary will be held on Saturday at 9:30am in the church. Visitation will be Saturday, from 9-10am also at church.

Rose C. Oehme was born on March 28, 1912 to Anton and Caroline(Divis)Kucera at Loma, Nebraska. She married Adolf Oehme on October 27, 1931. Three children were born to this union.
She was a honorary member of St. Francis Altar Society and the PCCW of St. Mary's Church, David City.
Rose is survived by her children: John(Mary)Oehme of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Doris(Marvin)Bernt of Shelby, Ne, five grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Adolph in 1982, one daughter, Marie Lovelace, one granddaughter, Judy Paulsen, and two sisters, Agnes O'Callaghan and Toni Engler.
