Rosalie Buck

Rosalie E. Buck, 78, of David City died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Rosalie has chosen Anatomical Donation to assist those learning in the medical field.
Memorial Mass will be Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church with Fr. Bernard Kimminau officiating. A parish rosary will also be offered on Tueday at 10:30am in St. Mary's Church. Family will greet friends with a lunch following the Mass at the Knights of Columbus Hall in David City.
Rosalie E. Buck was born on November 1, 1932 at David City, Nebraska to Lawrence and Thelma(Kindler)Zegers. She attended David City public schools and graduated from David City High School in 1951.
She married Delton Buck on August 25, 1954 at St. Francis Church, Center. Six children were born to this union. Delton passed away on Jan. 28, 1985 and Rosalie later married Leonard Cuba on Feb. 20, 1993. Leonard passed away on July 13, 1999.
Rosalie was a homemaker and worked various jobs throughtout her lifetime. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards and bingo and loved her cats and dog. She enjoyed bird watching, baking and was proud of her flowers. Her favorite times were spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church.
Rosalie is survived by her children: Ronald Joseph(Teri)Buck of Fowlerville, MI; Jean(Duane)Pearson of Lincoln, Wesley Buck of David City; Kathy(Kevin)Bals of Rising City; Kevin Buck of LaBolt, SD; brothers: Richard(Ethel)Zegers of Kearney, MO; Dave Zegers of David City; Jim(Vanessa)Zegers of David City; Pete(Shelia)Zegers of Raytown, MO; Bob(MaryLou)Zegers of San Diego, CA: Sisters: Lawrie Egger of David City; Elizabeth(Chuck)Price of Kansas. Sister-in-law: Martha Zegers of Garrison, NE; 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Delton and Leonard; one son: Daniel Buck in 2007; one grandson: Jeremy Buck; one brother: John Zegers and one sister: Phyllis Erbe.
