Ricky Lord

Ricky L. Lord, 52, of David City, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Butler County Health Care Center in David City as a result of fire at his home. Ricky was born July 31, 1957 in Hamburg, Iowa to Duane E. and Conda Kay (Boone) Lord. He has resided in David City for 30 years. Ricky was a Supervisor at Henningson Foods in David City.
Funeral Services for Ricky will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 15, at Chermok Funeral Home in David City. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14 from 7 - 9 pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ in Sidney, Iowa on Friday, October 16 at 2:00 pm with inurnment following at the Sidney Cemetery.
Ricky is survived by his significant other, Deb Sypal of David City, mother: Connie Lord of Sidney, Iowa, sons: Sky (Jayme) Lord of Riverton, Iowa, and Ryan (Kristi) Lord of Omaha, Nebraska, stepchildren, Nicole, Shaun and Jacque Sypal, brother: Jason (Hattie) Lord of Sidney, Iowa, sisters: Deb (Steve) Travis of Sidney, Iowa and Karen Lord of New Jersey, grandchildren: Landon, Nolan and Raegan Lord and Tyson, Issac, Jaela, Mackenzie, Taedon, Madison and Aliaha.
