Ricky Branham

Ricky Branham, age 65 died unexpectedly on January 5, 2021 at the Butler County Healthcare Center.


Ricky was born on February 15, 1955 in Wahoo, Nebraska to Burton and Lois Branham. He lived in Wahoo and Beatrice during his early years and then moved to David City in December of 1977 to receive training through Region V Services.

Ricky was known to many throughout the David City community due to his friendly disposition. He loved to visit with others and was always concerned about others. He loved talking to his family and friends as well as getting cards from his family.

Two of his greatest passions were farm life and animals. He had a gentle hand and loved all animals great or small. He had a very fulfilling life. He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin, and faithful friend to many. He enjoyed listening to polka music, watching Hee Haw and playing his harmonica in his spare time.

He is survived by his sister, Carmen Nielson, nieces, nephews & many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Yvonne Moreno.

He will be greatly missed for his unique sense of humor and fun-loving personality.
