Payton Elizabeth Phillips entered our hearts on April 8, 2011 and was brought home on the wings of angels on April 19, 2011. She was a light in this world for 11 days, 2 hours and 54 minutes.
She is survived by her courageous and loving mother, Nicole Phillips of David City, her Grandfather Chuck Phillips and Great-Grandmother Betty Phillips both of David City, Uncles Callan and Matthew Phillips of Wahoo, many extended family members and friends.
Nicole provided Payton what she needed most on this earth, the feeling of unconditional love that only a mother can give to her child. In return, Payton touched the lives of all that met her. She provided us with lessons on the beauty of life, the spirit of survival, and the peace of knowing that even in death, she is alive in the arms of her Savior.
