Opal Einspahr, 86, of David City, passed away Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Butler County Health Care Center in David City. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 16 at Chermok Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at the Pleasant View Pioneer Cemetery in rural Bellwood.
Opal was born March 12, 1922 to Fred and Clara (Yager) Kersting in Frankfort, Kansas. Opal married Frank Einspahr and the couple had 3 sons and 2 daughters. Opal enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and loved the grandkids and great grandkids.
Opal is survived by daughters: Diana (Jr) Hernandez of Kearney, Betty (Wayne) DeLaet of Rising City; son: Darryl (Dally) Einspahr of St. Paul, sister Etta Stone of Minden; 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sons: Larry and Danny.
Memorials are suggested in Care of the Family.
