Nellie M. Brockeveldt, 95, of David City died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at David Place in David City.

Nellie was born on July 29, 1922 at David City, Nebraska to Piet and Minnie (Jacobs) Peters. She attended local schools and graduated from David City High School in 1938. Nellie married Morris Brockeveldt on May 5, 1942 at St.Mary's Church in David City. The couple had no children. She was a homemaker and farm wife and also worked at Dales Electronics and the Fiesta Motel. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and St. Mary's PCCW and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler and loved her animals, especially her cats, dogs, ducks and geese.
She is survived by her brothers: John (Norma Jean) Peters of David City and Paul Peters of Seward, and sisters: Marie Kozisek, Virginia Brockevelt both of David City.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Morris, Brother, Bill Peters, Sisters: Christine Kozisek and Dorothy Zegers.
