Mildred A. Mastera, 88, of David City, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at David Place in David City.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Church, David City with Fr. Paul Frank officiating. Viewing will be Mon: 2-5pm at Chermok Funeral Home; and after 6pm at the church followed by a PCCW Rosary at 7pm in St. Mary's Church, David City
Mildred was born on January 17, 1921 to Anton and Helen(Pokorny)Sabata. She grew up and lived in the Butler County area all of her life. She married Frank J. Mastera on Sept. 7, 1954 at St. Mary's Church, David City. She was a member of the Appleton PCCW,and Assumption Church, Appleton.
She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, playing cards, She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her Husband: Frank, Daughter: Jane(Tom)Samek of David City; Brother: John B.(Marce)Sabata of David City; Sisters: Bernie(Gerald)Tuma of Schuyler, Jarmilla(Joe)Hanis of Bruno, Beatrice Sabata of David City; 3 Grandchildren: Michelle(Nate)Spath, Scott Samek and Rebecca Samek; 2 Great-grandchildren: Kaylee Spath and Kendall Samek
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Sylvester Sabata; two sisters: Tillie Coufal and Rose Jisa.
Memorials may be given for Masses or In care of the Family.
