Melissa A. Hotovy, 46, of David City, died Friday April 6, 2012 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 10:30am in St. Mary's Church with Fr. Bernard Kimminau officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
A parish rosary will be held Tuesday, 10:00am at the church. Viewing will be Tuesday: 9:30 until 10:30 also at church.

Melissa A. Hotovy was born on November 30, 1965 at David City to Ernest J. and Margaret Ann(Rech)Hotovy. She attended school at Fairacres School in Columbus.
She worked for 28yrs at the Region V Workshop in David City where she enjoyed her many friends and co-workers. Melissa loved to listen to her Sunday morning Polka Show, play UNO, watch her TV comedies, and traveling, especially her trips to Branson, where she got many autographed photos of the Branson performers. She looked forward to visits from her sisters' and treasured the time spent when they were back in Nebraska.
Melissa will be loved and missed by many, including her mother: Margaret Ann Hotovy; her sisters: Merry Kaye(Michael)Sullivan of Mequon, WI; Michele(Thomas)Hogan of Winfield, IL; and Marcia Hotovy of St. Paul, MN; her niece Jessica Hogan and her nephew, Kevin Sullivan, and her special pet dog "Punky".
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest in 1994.
