Maxine Hron

Maxine was born September 26, 1927 in Schuyler to Stanley and Mary (Vanek) Ondracek. She received her education in the Schuyler School system and then worked at Mutual of Omaha in Omaha. She and Ernie Hron were married December 7, 1948 in Columbus. Maxine cleaned several business offices and homes in Schuyler and enjoyed her time with her family. She loved music, especially polka and big band music (she and Ernie loved to dance) and was an Elvis Presley fan. She also liked to do crossword puzzles and watch television. Maxine died July 22, 2012 at her home in Schuyler at the age of 84. Maxine is survived be daughter, Terri (Joe) Brown of Columbus; sons Mike (Denise) Hron of Schuyler and Tim Hron of Omaha; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one sister, Dal Rasmussen of Singer Island, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ernie (October 3, 1999) and their daughter, Vicki Kingston (August 12, 2005). Lunch will be served at St. Augustines Parish Hall following the graveside service.
