Mary Vanderheiden

Mary M. "Toni" Vanderheiden, 80 of David City, passed away Friday December 12, 2008 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Sunday, December 14 at Chermok Funeral Home. A PCCW Rosary will be held at 7 pm at the funeral home. Services will be at 10:00 am Monday, December 15 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Mary was born in David City on February 15, 1928 to Cornelius and Mary (Zegers) Danaher. On August 30, 1949, Mary was married to Wilfred "Bill" Vanderheiden at St. Francis Catholic Church in Center.
Mary was a housewife and member of St. Mary's Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed going to Texas for the winters.
Mary is survived by her husband, Bill, of David City; daughters Diane Enloe and fiancee Thomas Langston of Lincoln, and Sherrill Vanderheiden and her fiancee Steve Harriman of Mission, TX; grandson Robert (Lorie) Mefford of Weare, NH; great granddaughter Meagan Marie Mefford of Were, NH; and brother: Gerald (Nadine) Danaher of David City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Irene Grady, Bernice Bongers and Gladys Heindel; and brothers Jerome, Eugene and Lee Danaher.
Memorials may be made In Care of the Family.
