Mary G. Morman, 86, of David City, passed away on July 7, 2014 at David Place in David City.

Mary Gertrude Morman was born on January 5, 1928 to George W. and Gertrude J.(Schmidt)Morman in Washington, Kansas. She grew up on the family farm. On July 27, 1956, she moved to Beatrice, NE., where she received services at the Beatrice State Developmental Center.
On October 5, 1977, she moved to David City, NE. and started services with Region V-David City. Mary had a successful, fulfilling life in David City, where she lived and worked. She had many friends in the community. She was a good worker and held various jobs which she loved, including working the Hotel Perkins, Henningsen Foods and Bea's Restaurant.
Mary loved to go to Bingo every Friday night at the KC Hall and thoroughly enjoyed going to Thomas Tavern afterward to visit friends, play pickle cards, and have a soda! She also enjoyed traveling, garage sales and spending time with friends.
Mary's bright smile, her wonderful, caring and unique personality and independent spirit will be missed.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Eva Renz of Diller, NE., Ella Mae Baeten of Lake Villa, IL; and Effie Lienau of Fredericksburg, Iowa, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: an infant sister Cecilia, and Agnes Adams and brothers: Tom, Willis and George Morgan.
