Marlene Hegemann

Marlene Hegemann, 78, of Howells, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Parkview Home in Dodge. Memorials can be made in Care of the Family Marlene Emilie Krupka Hegemann was born on the family farm south of Dodge to Joseph L. and Philomena(Minnie Gall) Krupka on October 21, 1938. She received her education at District 40 and graduated from Dodge Public School in 1956. On October 23, 1956 she married Delvin Hegemann at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. The couple made their home in Howells and was blessed with four children: Bruce, Cheryl, Theresa, and Russell. Marlene was a baker at Bills Food Mart and a librarian at the Howells Public Library. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Altar Society, Howells Library Board, 2 card clubs, The Dizzy Dozen Craft Club, and 4-H leader.
