Marjorie L. Foreman, 90, of David City, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Congregational Church in David City with Pastor Jack McDonald, officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 13 from 5 - 7 pm at Chermok Funeral Home and Friday one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the David City Cemetery.
Marjorie was born April 1, 1920 in St. Elmo, Illinois to Elzabad and Grace (Hankins) Greider. She married Arthur Augustus Foreman on April 22, 1943 in David City. Marjorie was a self-employed dietician.
Marjorie was a member of the Congregational Church for 60 years, a member of the O.W.L.S. Club, the American Legion Auxilliary, a School Board Member and a member of a Bridge Club.
Marjorie is survived by sons: Chris (Lynnelle) Foreman of Swathmore, PA, Jon (Roxy) Foreman of Lincoln, Matt Foreman of Scottsdale, AZ, Brian Foreman of Lincoln, daughter: Jill Foreman of Santa Ana, CA; grandchildren: Graydon & Marla Foreman, Andrew & Kortnee Foreman, Brent Foreman, Anissa & Scott Rasmussen and Michael Klippert; great grandson: Tyler Rasmussen.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur, and daughter Teresa.
Memorials are suggested "In Care of the Family".
