Marie D. Lewis

Marie D. Lewis, 76, of Bellwood passed away March 26, 2018 at the Butler County Health Care Center.

Memorials have been suggested to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellwood.

There will be a luncheon immediately following the graveside services at St. Peter's Church Hall in Bellwood.


Marie was born February 25, 1942 to Joseph and Delvina(Hill) Egr in Columbus. She was united in marriage to Bobby Lewis on June 27, 1959. 5 children were born to this union.

Marie loved spending time with her family, reading, going for walks, and going to mass.

She is survived by her husband: Bobby Lewis, of Bellwood; daughter: Diana Lewis, of Bellwood; son: Dale Lewis, of Bellwood; brothers: Jim, Roger(Mary), Jack, and Bill; sisters: Barbara, Linda, Nancy, and Della(Sam); 3 grandchildren: Heather(Ryan), Melissa(Andrew), and Amanda(B.J.); 8 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Easton, Lily, Rylend, Kali, Kandance, Anna, and Ava; and several nieces and nephews.

Marie is preceded in death by her mother: Delvina; father: Joe; mother-in-law: Jewel; sisters: JoAnn(Jerry), Janice; brothers: Wayne(Ila), Steve, Paul; children: Bobby, Wanda, Connie, and great-granddaughter: Angelina.
