Margaret Irene Renner (nee Hader), 86, beloved mother and grandmother died peacefully at Parson’s House Omaha, NE on July 17 ending a full life of caring, endurance and faithfulness. She was born August 22, 1936, in rural Stanton County to Mina and John Hader.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, August 5, at 10:30 a.m. at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Walter Jong-A-Kiem officiating. Family greeting friends will be on Friday, August 4 from 6 until 7 p.m. with a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. all at the church. Burial of Margaret's ashes will be in the S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery with a lunch following in the church's basement social hall. Svoboda Funeral Home is assisting Margaret's Family with arrangements
Margaret graduated from Howells High School and received a teaching certificate from Wayne State. She taught in a one room schoolhouse until her marriage. She married Roman J. Renner in 1961 at Saint Henry's Catholic Church. Together, they farmed in Cuming County until moving to Howells in 1985, where they renovated a historic home.
Margaret had a long and exemplary career at Parkview Nursing Home in Dodge. She first worked as an aide and then returned to school at the North-East Community College and became a licensed practical nurse / LPN. She continued to work at Parkview until 2015. Margaret continued caring for others into retirement as a volunteer healthcare giver and driver of close friends.
She enjoyed gardening, baking, the library, a good newspaper article and cookbooks. She traveled numerous times to Germany to visit relatives. She was an advocate for education, recycling and conservation. She celebrated nature and had a special interest in Native American culture.
Margaret was a lifetime member of Saint Peter and Paul and was a past president of the Christian Mothers and taught catechism. She could be found on Saturday evenings frequenting local country parish masses in Olean and Heun.
She is survived by all four children: LaDonna Konsel (Omaha); Barbara Shapiro (Richard) (Kansas City); Brenda Coppard (Omaha); David (Brian Rivette) (Salt Lake City); by her sister Barbara Hader, brothers Johnny Hader and Robert Hader (Janice); and by her beloved grandchildren Brett Konsel, Ryan Konsel (Jen), Sarah Shapiro, and Katie Coppard. She is preceded in death by her husband Roman and son in law Bill Konsel.
There is no doubt that Roman was there to greet her at the pearly gates.
