Lyle Kopke

Lyle D. Kopke, 63, of Garrison, died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Monday, June 16, 2008 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Rising City with burial in the church cemetery. Viewing will be one hour before services at the church.
Lyle Kopke was born on November 6, 1944 to John and Alice(Lange)Kopke at Rising City. He attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School. He worked as a hired hand for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, animals, raising small livestock and poultry. He also enjoyed woodworking, and building various projects. He as a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his uncle Edwin Kopke of Rising City, two aunts: Hilda Voss and Dorothy Voss both of Seward. 17 Cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1959 and his father in 1994 and several aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be given in care of the family.
