Lucille Kelly

Lucille Kelly was born on June 3, 1917 to Hugh and Julia(Ficke) Kelly at Surprise, NE. She spent many years in the Omaha area working as a secretary. She moved back to the Bellwood area to care for her parents and ailing brother. In 1989, she retired from her job as an assembly worker for BD in Columbus and moved to David City to be closer to family. She passed away on Aug. 15, 2006 at Butler County Health Care Center in David City. She is survived by her brother: James Kelly of Omaha; Sister: Mary Jones of David City, one nephew and three nieces. She is preceded in death by two brothers: Leo and John Kelly. Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs. Aug. 17 at St. Mary's Church, David City followed by burial in Sts. Peter and Mary Cemetery, rural Bellwood. A PCCW rosary will be held on Wed. Aug. 16 at 7:00pm at the funeral home.
