Louise Martens, 58, of Schuyler passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln.

Louise was born February 14, 1959 in Fremont to Louie and Lucille (Majerus) Leeper. Louise married Greg Martens on June 18, 1977 in Rogers. She loved being outdoors, especially going camping. Louise loved spending time with her grandchildren or playing with her pet dog Timmy. She could always be found in the kitchen, cooking and baking, or admiring her growing collection of Budweiser beer steins.
Louise is survived by her husband: Greg Martens of Schuyler; Daughters: Amanda Martens, Amber (Miguel) de Leon, and Ashley (Juan) de Leon all of Schuyler; Grandchildren: Morgan de Leon, Cristian de Leon, Angel de Leon, Isabela de Leon, and Juan de Leon; Mother: Lucille (John) Gravlin of Columbus; Brothers: Louie “Sonny” (Janice) Leeper of Lubbock, TX and Lee (Jamie) Leeper of Hobbs, NM; Sister: Luann (Danny) Bender of Columbus; Sister-in-law: Wendy Leeper of Hobbs, NM; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Louie, 2 sisters: LaVonne Leeper and LeAnn Leeper, and brother Carl “Buck” Leeper.
