Lorna Faltys

Lorna Catherine Faltys, 86, of Schuyler, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011. A Funeral Mass for Lorna at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 3, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Heun with Father Leo A. Rigatuso officiating. Visitation will be held at Svoboda Funeral Home North Chapel from 1:00 PM—5:30 PM, with a 3:00 PM Rosary. Visitation will continue at 6:30 PM at Holy Trinity Church followed by a Rosary at 7:30 PM. Visitation will resume Friday at the church at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Heun. Lorna is survived by 11 children: Mary Kay (Mrs. Norman) Dvorak of Schuyler, Joe (wife Suzi) Faltys of Norfolk, Connie (Mrs. Steve) Weides of Lexington, NE, Carolyn (Mrs. Larry) Podolak of Schuyler, Susan (Mrs. Leroy) Ahlers of Cascade, MT, Maggie (Mrs. Terry) Van Diest of Lincoln, NE, Verna Galloway of Grand Island, Tom (wife Liz) Faltys of Schuyler, Bob (wife Ellen) Faltys of Schuyler, Julie (Mrs. Mike) Bideaux of Schuyler, Lee (wife Vicki) Faltys of Clay Center, sisters: Alice Gibbs, Geneva Kiefer, Margaret Brester and Marlene Hoffman, 50 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe, son Mark and brothers: Vernon, Edward and Norbert Engbarth.
