Linda M. Bayer formerly of Howells, was born on January 27, 1953 to Sebastian “Pat” and Arlene (Lacina) Bayer, in Columbus Nebraska, and departed this life on August 14, 2024, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Linda graduated from high school in Howells and pursued higher education at college. Throughout her eventful life, she held a deep affection for animals and cherished the adventures she experienced during her younger years. Linda loved to draw and was known by close friends to be a fantastic artist. She enjoyed designing clothing, but preferred dresses. With Linda’s love of travel, she thoroughly enjoyed watching the Olympics this year and hoped to some day be able to attend.

With her Catholic up brining, Linda held a deeply rooted faith in Christianity throughout her life. Linda felt that if she took the time to understand all religions it helped form a closer relationship to God.

She is survived by her brother, Leonard (Sharleen) Bayer of Howells, and three nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pat and Arlene Bayer, and her nephew, Jeff Bayer.

Her journey through life was marked by a vibrant spirit and she will be missed.
