LeRoy H Abel, 64, of David City, died Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 10:00 am at Chermok Funeral Home with Fr. Peter Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Abel is survived by: Wife: Clarine; one son, Jeremy(Amy)Abel of David City; Daughters: Diane Able of Denton; Angela(Corey)Olson of North Liberty, Iowa, 4 Brothers and two sisters; 8 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons: James at infancy, and Jeff in June of 2006. He was currently employed at Henningson foods as a Dryer Operator. He served in the United States Air Force. Upon his death he participated in the tissue/bone donor program, so that someone else may live life to the fullest. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing and many other outdoor activities.
