Laverna A Fozzard

Laverna A. Fozzzard was born on June 14, 1928 at Rising City, Nebraska to Werner and Metta(Hoeft) Hinze. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rising City, Nebraska. She attended District 43, Rising Sun School and graduated from Rising City High School in 1946.

She married Doyle Fozzard on July 31, 1948 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Two children were born to this union.

Laverna was a homemaker and did office work for the REA in her early years.

Survivors include her husband Doyle, one daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and Leevon Bernt of Osceola, Son and daughter-in-law: Lee and MaryJo Fozzard of Rising City. six grandchildren and two great-grandsons, one sister and brother-in-law: Elaine and Richard Ruth of Rising City and a brother-in-law: Jean Kuhl of Lincoln.

Laverna was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Orleatha Kuhl.
