Kenneth J. Brezina

Kenny was born October 24, 1943 in Columbus to James R. and Delores (Ludvik) Brezina. He attended Butler County District 10, David City High School and Schuyler High School. On February 25, 1963 he married Judy Weber at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Schuyler and they lived in the Linwood area, where Kenny farmed, until moving to Schuyler in 1994. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting antique tractors. Kenny had served on the District 10 School Board and had been active in the Schuyler FFA Alumni Association. He was a member of the Nebraska Gas Engine and Antique Tractor Association. Kenny died February 15th at Merrick Manor in Fremont at the age of 66 following a two year battle with cancer. Kenny is survived by his wife Judy of Schuyler; four sons, John Brezina and his fiancee, Jodi Zebert, of Grand Island, Jim Brezina and Carla Korth of David City, Michael Brezina and his wife Lori of Linwood, Bill Brezina and his wife Nichole of Schuyler; 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia (Mrs. Mike) Griess of Sutton. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald; one sister, Delores Gates. Family suggest memorial to Family Choice Funeral lunch will be served at the St. Augustine's Parish Hall.
