Karen R. Allen, 65, of David City died Thursday February 16, 2012 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Funeral Services will be 10 AM Saturday February 18, 2012 at Chermok Funeral Home in David City with Rev. Mark Schutt officiating. Interment will be 2 PM at Randolph Cemetery in Randolph, NE. Visitation will be from 9 AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Region V Services or to St. Joseph's Villa.
Karen Allen was born September 15, 1946 at Laurel, NE to Ernest and Margaret (Hayward) Allen. She was always known for her bubbly personality. She loved old 45 records, riding her bicycle and reading. She had been a resident at St. Joseph's Villa since 2006. She will be greatly missed by her friends at Region V.
Survivors include: a sister Glenna (Kenneth) Chapek of Bruno; 4 nieces and nephews; 4 great-nieces and nephews; several cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
