Joshua Prellwitz, 18, of Rising City passed away May 4, 2015 at Bryan West Medical Center, in Lincoln, due injuries sustained in a auto accident on May 2, 2015.

Joshua was born January 28, 1997 to John and Carla(Miller) Prellwitz, in Glencoe, MN. He was baptized on March 2, 1997 at Grace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota, and was confirmed on May 11, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church in Rising City, Nebraska. He was home schooled, and was currently in his senior year, with plans to major in Biology.
Joshua loved Jesus and science. He had a great love for his family and friends. Joshua had friends he influenced from all over the world by being a Student Ambassador and Leader through the online home schooling program Currclick.
He is survived by his parents: John and Carla; sister: Amanda Prellwitz; brother: Matthew Prellwitz; grandmothers: Corrine Miller, of Slayton, MN, and Alona Cahow, of Minneota, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Marvin Prellwitz, and Jerry Miller; step-grandfather: Don Cahow; brother: Caleb Prellwitz; uncle: Dennis Prellwitz; and cousin: Katie Miller.
