Joshua K.U. Lopez

Joshua Kyle Ulysses Lopez, 28, of Howells, Nebraska, died Sunday, January 15, 2023, at his home.

Uli will be buried at Ridge Municipal Cemetery in Fremont, Nebraska on Wednesday, January 18, at 10:00 AM.

Uli was a very strong, passionate man when it came to his children. He always wanted them to feel loved. He worked hard to try and make a good life for them.

Ulysses was in a very bad car accident a little over a year ago and had been recuperating very well until about two weeks ago. Uli was a very private person just like his mom and sisters and always wanted people to know he was okay.

The last two weeks Ulysses was very public what was going on with him. He was very confused, paranoid, and had a lot of anxiety. His family tried to help him to bring back the Uli from before, but Uli decided a different road.

Ulysses chose gods path of no more suffering, no more bad days and nights. Ulysses is now resting in heaven with his grandma, Paula Lopez Jimenez and his dad Jesus Juorez Lopez.

Uli is survived by his children: Dillon, Ulisses Arial, and Paulita, mother, Krista (Pedro) Gonzalez of Fremont, sisters: Jennifer Lopez (Oscar Jimenez) of Auburn, Washington, Jessica Lopez (Ronald Barraza) of Columbus, Nebraska, Analilia Velazquez (Thomas Treinen) of Russell, Kansas, Amelia Velazquez of Denison, Iowa, brothers: Jose Gonzalez and Juan Gonzalez both of Fremont, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Lopez, and grandmother, Paula Lopez Jimenez.
