Joe Tresnak, 86 of Howells, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, October 28, by God, at the Wisner Care Center.

Joe Gene Tresnak was born on February 14, 1933 in Schuyler to Joseph and Helen (Skala) Tresnak. He attended Howells High School and graduated in 1951, after graduation he was drafted and served his country for 2 years. In 1955 at a dance in Howells, Joe met the love of his life June Brdicko. He was united in Holy marriage to her on November 12, 1955 and was blessed with almost 64 years of married life together.
Joe loved the outdoors, whether spending time on his farm tending crops, or hunting and fishing. He was always willing to sit down and play any of the number of card games and striking up conversation with anyone, about anything. Joe religiously attended his grandchildren's sporting events and loved it when his entire family was together.
He is survived by his wife, June of Howells, children Greg (Cindy) Tresnak of Scribner, and Pam (Doug) Bazata of Howells, sister Verona Rydel of Arizona; grandchildren: Brad (Renee) Utemark, Brian (Nicole) Wigington, Derek (Shauna) Tresnak, Jarrod, Justin, and Jayda Bazata and great-grandchildren Chase and Brittney Utemark.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents; sister Mary Ann Sadler and brothers-in-law Jim Sadler and Robert Rydel.
