James A. Sabata, 40, of David City passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at David Place.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00pm at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in David City with Pastor Mark Schutt officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

James "Jim" A. Sabata was born May 8, 1972 to Joseph and Marcia(Ball) Sabata in David City, Nebraska. He graduated from David City Public Schools in 1991. Jim went on to work in construction for many years.
He lived in David City for all of his life and was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, wrestling, going to auctions, the outdoors, turtle hunting, and spending time with his son, Cody.
Jim is survived by his mother: Marcia Sabata; Son: Cody Sabata of David City; Brother: Joe Sabata of David City; Sisters: Karen(Randy) Fendrich of Abie and Tracy(John) Hein of David City; Nieces & Nephews: Miranda, Ashley, and Nolan Fendrich; Wiley and Shelby Hein.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Sabata in 2011, and his grandparents.
