Jerome J. Havlovic, 64, of Brainard, died Friday, September 24, 2010 at his residence in Brainard of natural causes.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 10:00am in Holy Trinity Church, Brainard with Fr. Matthew Eickhoff officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
No viewing/visitation. Register book will be available for signing at the church one hour before services on both days.
Parish Rosary will be Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 7:00pm in the church followed by refreshments in the Klein Center.

Jerome J. Havlovic was born on September 24, 1946 at Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph V. and Edith B.(Rerucha)Havlovic. He was raised in the Brainard area and graduated from Aquinas High School in 1965. He went on to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln to obtain his Bacherlor Degree.
He enlisted in the US Army in 1969, serving in Vietnam as a tank commander. He was honorably discharged in 1971, and came back to Brainard to work in the Co-op. Jerome was promoted to manager of the Dwight Co-op and remained there until his retirement due to illness.
Mr. Havlovic was a member of Holy Trinity Church, the Brainard Volunteer Fire Department, serving as an EMT for many years, the Knights of Columbus as a 3rd degree member, and the Rejda Legion Post 273 of Brainard.
He is survived by his siblings: Sr. Ernestine Havlovic, ND of Omaha, Brother Edward Havlovic, SDS of Milwaukee, WI, Ernest Havlovic of Brainard, James(Elaine)Havlovic of Staceyville, Iowa, Joe(Emily)Havlovic of Brainard, Marie(Larry)Mielak of Columbus, Raymond(Orletha)Havlovic of David City, Leonard(JoAnn)Havlovic of Witchita, KS, Catherine(Chuck)Lavicky of Dwight, Bernard(Maureen)Havlovic of Lewis, Iowa, Martin(Maria)Havlovic of Portage, WI; Edwin Havlovic of New York City, NY; and George(Mary)Havlovic of El Paso, TX; many nieces and nephews.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Francis and one niece: Deb McConnell.
