Jean A. Hover, 85, of David City, went home to the Lord on Reformation Day, Friday, October 31, 2014 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln.

Jean A. Hover was born on August 16, 1929 to Harm and Anna(Plank)Kruse at Gothenburg, Nebraska. She married William A. Hover on April 11, 1944 at Belleville, KS. Two sons were born to this union.
Jean was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was known for her generous hospitality and warm smile. She was a woman of great faith and she loved her dachshund dogs. She was also a collector who filled many a curio cabinets with the treasures she found through out the years. As a pastors wife, she was involved in the churches where her husband was pastor and taught Sunday School and catechism classes.
Jean is survived by her sons: David Hover of Hilo, Hawaii and Daniel(Valerie)Hover of Rodney, Michigan. One sister: Wanda Dallegge of Garrison, Nebraska. two grandchildren: Jeremiah Hover and Leda Smith and five great-grandchildren: Jonah, Noah, Jordan, Haiden and Kari.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and three brothers.
