Janis Deavers

Janis M. "J.D." Deavers, 73, of Bruno, died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at her residence in Bruno.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00am in the Congregational Christian Church of David City with Pastor Jack McDonald officiating. Cremation will take place after the funeral service with a burial of ashes in the David City Cemetery at a later date.
Viewing will be on Friday, from 4-7pm at Chermok Funeral Home and on Saturday, one hr before services at the church.
Memorials may be given In Care of the Family.
Janis M. Carlson was born on November 19, 1936 to Paul and Bernice(Long)Carlson at Grant, Iowa. She graduated from South High School in Omaha. She has lived in the Butler County area for nearly 40 years.
Janis worked at various jobs throughout her lifetime. She was an avid collector of many things, loved to camp, crochet, and spend time outside with her flower and vegatable gardens. She had a wonderful sense of humor and cherished the time she spent with family and friends.
Janis is survived by her children: Jim Deavers of Grand Island, Steve Lieberman of Arizona, Cheryl Lieberman of Bruno, Don Lieberman of Oklahoma, Chris(Scott)Sindt of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Peggy(Bruce)Brahmsteadt of Dodge, and Janice(Clarence)Holland of Texas. Three brothers: Roger(Sally)Carlson and Richard(Connie)Carlson both of Bellevue and Phil Carlson of Oregon; one sister: Beverly Fisher of Omaha. 21 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two sons: Michael Lieberman and Royce Mulenex and one grandson, Dustin Mulenex.
