Janet V. Dubsky, 78, of David City, died Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Butler County Health Care Center in David City.
Services are 10:30 am Monday, February 25, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City. Burial will be in the Schuyler Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm noon until 7:00 pm Sunday, February 24, 2008, with a PCCW Rosary following at 7:00 pm, all at Chermok Funeral Home in David City.
Janet was born September 17, 1929 to Lars and Signe (Martenson) Johnson. She married Jerry Dubsky on January 27, 1946. She was a waitress and she and Jerry owned Dubsky's Bar in David City for many years.
Janet enjoyed being with her family, shopping at thrift stores and attending auctions, flowers, birds and raising puppies.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry of David City, sons: Joe of Sioux Falls, SD, Jay (Colleen) of Schuyler, Jeff of David City; daughters: JaNae Smith of Denver, CO, JaNel Farnsworth-Dumbrill and her husband Doug of Gillette, WY, Jana Hale and her husband Terry of Minneapolis, MN, sister Fern Brandl of Schuyler, 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested "In Care of the Family".
