Irene C. Kelly, 98, of David City, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at David Place in David City.
Funeral Services will be Friday, 2:00pm at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, David City with Pastor Mark Schutt officiating. Interment will follow in the David City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, from 9am-12 at Chermok Funeral Home and from 1pm-2pm at the church.
Memorials have been suggested to the David City Volunteer Fire Department or to the church.
Irene Curry Kelley was born on October 12, 1912 to Claude and Tillie (Curry) Raitt at Rising City. Irene was united in marriage to Roland Kelley on September 9, 1933.
Survivors include her daughters Dixie (Karen) Moser of Omaha; Donna (Dan) Schrader of Gretna and Vicki (Richard) Rockwell of Billings, MT; 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; one sister Clarabelle (Myron) Kilgore; one brother Dick (Fairy) Raitt as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roland; one brother; one granddaughter and one grandson.
