Howard D. Taylor, 66, of David City, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Church, David City with Fr. Bernard Kimminau officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Viewing will be Tuesday, 3-5pm at Chermok Funeral Home and after 6pm at the church followed by a 7pm parish wake/rosary service. Addtional viewing will be Wednesday, one hr before services at the church.

Howard Taylor was born November 7, 1943 in Hyannis, Nebraska to Robert and Edna (Lee) Taylor. He married Judy Haselhorst on June 8, 1968 at St. Mary's Church in Hays, Kansas. Judy passed away in 1998.
Howard was Vice-president of Manufacturing for Timpte Inc. After leaving Timpte, he worked as a sales representative for Keith Walking Floors and founded the Tumbling T Horse Facility near Seward, NE. He was a member of the Quarterhorse Association and he was extensively involved in community actvities while living in David City. Howard enjoyed traveling in his RV throughout the US with his dog, Jet.
Howard is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Bill) Yindrick of Davd City, NE, and Julianne (Gary) Higer of Savannah, MO; brother, Ray (Diane) Taylor of Colorado; eight grandchildren, Caleb, Will, Jude, Mara and Augustine Yindrick, and Shayna, Camryn and Cale Higer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Judy and brother Dick.
