Helen Rerucha, 89, of Seward, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Sunderman West Nursing Home in Seward.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, November 16 at St. Francis Church(Center), rural David City. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 2-7pm followed by a 7pm rosary, all at Chermok Funeral Home in David City.
Helen Rerucha was born on Nov. 25, 1917 to Anton and Veronica (Sypal) near Brainard. She graduated from Brainard Public Schools. She married Everest Rerucha on Aug. 29, 1939 at Holy Trinity Church in Brainard. They lived their entire married life in the Brainard area. She was a member of the St. Francis Altar Society. She enjoyed baking, gardening, canning, Czech music and she loved her animals.
She is survived by her son: Larry Rerucha of David City; Daughters: Margaret(William)Woita of Dwight and Marvene(Graham)Robertson of Montello, NV; 6 Grandchildren; 14 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2002; one brother: George Bruner and one sister: Lucy Soukup.
Memorials may be given in care of the family.
