Helen Moore

Helen Moore, age 96 years of Columbus, died Sunday, November 14, 2010, at her home in Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial for Helen Moore will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 17 at Divine Mercy Parish - St Mary's Catholic Church in Schuyler. The burial will be at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Howells at 1:30 PM on Wednesday. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 PM to 7 PM at Svoboda Funeral Home North Chapel in Schuyler with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the North Chapel. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the North Chapel. Helen was born on August 1, 1914 in Schuyler to Anton and Bessie (Dusek) Koci. She attended rural school at Fisher School. On December 2, 1944, she was united in marriage to Levi Moore at St Mary's Catholic Church in Schuyler. They made their home on a farm 3 miles south of Howells. After the death of her husband, she moved to Columbus in 1976. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, flowers, gardening, recycling, animals and trips to the casino.
