Harry Reisdorff

Harry J. Reisdorff, 94, of David City, died Tuesday, November 28 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Dec. 2 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, David City with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 1:00pm on Friday with a 7:00pm Rosary all at Chermok Funeral Home. Memorials may be left in care of St. Mary's Church or Aquinas Endowment Fund.
Harry J. Reisdorff was born on August 19, 1912 to John J. and Caroline Schlentz Reisdorff on the farm near David City. He attended the local schools and later met and married Anna DePauw on June 1, 1939 at St. Mary's Church in David City. He was a farmer who also enjoyed woodworking, playing cards and joke telling. He was a member of St. Mary's Church. He is survived by his sons: Jim(Shari) Reisdorff of David City; John Reisdorff od Worden, MT; Daughters: Janie(Gordon) Harting of Omaha; Joan(Corkey) Tomlin of Scottsdale, AZ; and Nancy(Mike) Scullion of Mesa, AZ. He has 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Emma on Dec. 24, 2002, three brothers: Earl; Msgr. Clarence; and Anthony; Two sisters: Martha Reisdorff and Lucille Birkel.
