Harold Dowd

Harold was born June 26, 1924 in Schuyler to John Henry and Rosa Irene (McNally) Dowd. He attended Schuyler Public Schools and graduated from Schuyler High School. He worked for Wagner Mills in Schuyler and at the Dowd Grain Elevator in Aurora. He was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church. Harold died October 25, 2010, at the age of 86, at the Golden Living Center in Schuyler where he had been a resident for the last five years. Harold is survived by one sister-in-law, Eileen Dowd of Columbus; many nieces and nephews and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Gerald and brothers Leo, Donald and John Dowd; sisters Loretta (Dowd) Mack and Charlotte (Dowd) Wesch. Family suggest memorial to the Schuyler Senior Center or Divine Mercy Parish. Funeral lunch will be served at the St. Augustine's Parish Hall.
