Georgia Cidlik, 88, of Dwight, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Butler County Health Care Center in David City.
Services 10 am Wednesday, Feb. 27 at Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight. Visitation: 3-5 pm Tuesday at Chermok Funeral Home in David City and 6-7 pm at Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation continues one hour before services on Wwednesday at the Church. Burial will be in the Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
Georgia was born on September 15, 1919 in Appleton to John and Mary Jo (Samek) Svoboda. She married Irvin Cidlik on August 5, 1941 in Appleton. She lived in the Dwight area all of her life. She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, Altar Society, Library Board and Community Club.
Georgia is survived by sons: Irvin (Pat) Cidlik, Jr., of Dwight, Bill (Pat) Cidlike of Paw Paw, IL, daughter: Linda (Kenny) Woolsey of Rising city, 12 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 6 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Irvin in 2004, brothers: Adolph, Joe, Jim, John, and Bill Svoboda and sisters Emma Stara and Martha Dolezal, and great granddaugther Morgan Bongers.
